YES! Sharing Microsoft Outlook calendar, contacts and other folders can be easy and affordable
Sharing Microsoft Outlook calendar, contact, email, and task folders has never been
easier and more affordable. 3StepShare is an ingenious new product designed to facilitate the
sharing of Outlook folders (calendar, contact, task and email) without the need for
Microsoft Exchange Server, server computers, expensive monthly hosting fees, or a computer specialist to
install and keep it running.
Unlike other products that claim to share Microsoft Outlook calendar and other folders, but require
you to maintain information in a separate application with clumsy and time-consuming import and export
routines; 3StepShare is a true Microsoft Outlook plugin that, once installed, becomes an integrated
component of Microsoft Outlook and is specially designed for sharing your Outlook calendar, contact,
task and email folders with other Microsoft Outlook users.
The 3StepShare plugin for sharing Microsoft Outlook calendar, contact, task and email folders does
not contain a server application. Instead, it uses Microsoft Outlook’s email to send, receive and
synchronize data between shared Outlook folders across two or more Microsoft Outlook installations.
Thus, anyone with Microsoft Outlook can use the product without having to worry about server
installation, network configuration issues, and/or additional hardware requirements.
Starting at only $39.95 per user (one-time fee), 3StepShare unlocks the sharing of Outlook calendars
and other important folders at a cost less than what you would pay for a fancy cup of coffee once a month
for a year. Best of all, any Microsoft Outlook user can install 3StepShare and begin using it immediately
to share their calendar, contact, task and mail folders with other Outlook users (each Outlook user must
install 3StepShare). In fact, sharing Outlook folders with 3StepShare, from beginning to end, can be
accomplished in as little as two minutes when using 3StepShare’s Install, Invite and Share process.

How 3StepShare works
Once installed, you tell 3StepShare what Outlook folders you want to share and with whom to share.
3StepShare then gathers the contents of the folders you are sharing and puts the data into specially
coded file attachments and emails them to the people which you are sharing. The users in which you are
sharing Outlook calendar, contact, task and/or email folders with receive these special emails, which
3StepShare then uses to synchronize with the appropriate shared folders of the user’s Outlook installation;
all without you having to take any further action.
Why 3StepShare Works the Way it does
We designed 3StepShare to use specially coded emails to share Outlook folders as it makes the product
easy to use because there is no need to setup and/or configure a network server. Moreover, by using your
email to send and received shared Outlook folder data it works wherever you work. For example, let’s say
you use a laptop and often use it at home, in the office and/or out on the road; with 3StepShare you’ll
be able to continuously send and receive updates to/from your shared Outlook folders with other Outlook
users as long as you are able to send and receive emails.
3StepShare also works great for sharing Outlook folders with people who aren’t on the same internal
network as you are. Because it uses standard email to communicate additions and/or changes to shared Outlook
folders, it doesn’t matter where the people in which you share Outlook calendars, contacts, tasks and email
are located…they could be in your office, on the other side of town, or on the other side of the globe.
Why the name 3StepShare?
When creating 3StepShare our mission was to design it with a simple process that anyone could understand
without having to read a novel. So we took a look at all sorts of products on the market today and quickly
saw that the easiest and most intuitive products out there employ the basic concept of 3 progressive steps.
Everyone understands the concept of 1, 2 and 3. So we designed our product around a simple 3-step premise:
Install, Invite and Share.
Here’s how sharing Outlook calendars and other folders can be easily, reliably and affordably accomplished…
Installing the 3StepShare Calendar Sharing Plugin for Microsoft Outlook
Everyone on your team wishing to share their Outlook calendar, contact, task and/or email folders must first
install the 3StepShare plugin software for Microsoft Outlook. Installing 3StepShare starts with downloading the
setup application from our website at
www.3StepShare.com/downloads/download.aspx. Once downloaded, simply
double-click on the 3StepShare.exe setup file and follow the on-screen prompts…that’s it!
Send your Outlook sharing invitation
Once you and your team members have installed 3StepShare, simply open Microsoft Outlook, select a folder you
wish to share with another Outlook user, and click the Share folder button on your 3StepShare Outlook toolbar.
Then simply enter the name and email address of the user you wish to share the selected folder with, and click OK.
3StepShare then sends an invitation to the user which will appear from within their copy of Microsoft Outlook for
which he/she may accept or reject.
Sharing Outlook folders (Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Email)
Once your invitation to share an Outlook calendar, contact, task or email folder is accepted, your copy of
Outlook gets a confirmation back from the accepting user and then sends the contents of your shared folder to the
other Outlook user to populate its newly configured shared folder in their copy of Outlook. From this point forward,
both copies of Outlook (between the two users sharing a specified Outlook folder) will look for changes within the
shared Outlook folder, and send those changes to each other each time Outlook sends and receives email. This happens
behind the scenes automatically, without any user intervention!
